Cook tender and slightly crisp corn on the cob quickly using your air fryer. This recipe provides simple steps for perfect results every time.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ears fresh corn, husks removed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (195°C).
  2. Lightly brush each ear of corn with olive oil or melted butter.
  3. Sprinkle the corn evenly with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the corn in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if necessary.
  5. Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes, flipping the ears halfway through the cooking time.
  6. Check for doneness; the corn should be tender when pierced with a fork and slightly browned in spots.
  7. Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately with your preferred toppings.

Notes

  • For a Mexican street corn (Elotes) style, brush the cooked corn with mayonnaise, sprinkle with cotija cheese, chili powder, and a squeeze of lime juice.
  • If you prefer a softer texture, reduce the temperature slightly to 370°F (188°C) and cook for 14 minutes.
  • You can use frozen corn, but thaw it completely and pat it very dry before oiling and seasoning. Adjust cooking time down by about 2 minutes.
