Ingredients
Scale
4 ears fresh corn, husks removed
1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (195°C).
Lightly brush each ear of corn with olive oil or melted butter.
Sprinkle the corn evenly with salt and pepper.
Place the corn in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if necessary.
Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes, flipping the ears halfway through the cooking time.
Check for doneness; the corn should be tender when pierced with a fork and slightly browned in spots.
Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately with your preferred toppings.
Notes
For a Mexican street corn (Elotes) style, brush the cooked corn with mayonnaise, sprinkle with cotija cheese, chili powder, and a squeeze of lime juice.
If you prefer a softer texture, reduce the temperature slightly to 370°F (188°C) and cook for 14 minutes.
You can use frozen corn, but thaw it completely and pat it very dry before oiling and seasoning. Adjust cooking time down by about 2 minutes.
