Ingredients
Scale
1 (16.3 ounce) can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
Remove the biscuits from the can and separate them. Cut each biscuit into four equal pieces.
In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon for the coating.
Brush each biscuit piece lightly with the melted butter on all sides.
Place the buttered biscuit pieces into the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch. Work in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 5 to 7 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time.
Remove the hot biscuit bites from the air fryer.
Immediately toss the hot bites in the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.
Return the coated bites to the air fryer basket and cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes at 350°F (175°C) to set the sugar and increase crispiness.
Serve warm.
Notes
For maximum crispiness, do not skip the second, short cooking time after applying the sugar coating.
If your air fryer runs hot, check the bites at 4 minutes during the first cook time to prevent burning.
Use real butter for the best flavor adhesion to the dough.
