Make savory, crispy corn ribs in your air fryer using Parmesan cheese and garlic seasoning. This recipe delivers maximum crunch quickly.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ears fresh corn, shucked
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cut each ear of corn lengthwise into four equal wedges, creating ‘ribs’. You will have 16 pieces total.
  2. In a medium bowl, toss the corn ribs with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (195°C).
  4. Place the seasoned corn ribs in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd; work in batches if necessary.
  5. Air fry for 8 minutes.
  6. Carefully remove the basket, toss the corn ribs, and sprinkle half of the Parmesan cheese over them.
  7. Return the basket to the air fryer and cook for another 4 to 6 minutes, or until the corn is tender and the edges are crispy.
  8. Remove the corn ribs, toss them with the remaining Parmesan cheese, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving hot.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, ensure the corn ribs are dry before tossing them with oil.
  • If you prefer a stronger garlic flavor, use 1/2 teaspoon of garlic salt instead of plain salt and garlic powder.
  • Adjust air fryer temperature to 400°F (200°C) for the last 2 minutes if you desire deeper browning.
