Make crispy, flavorful garlic parmesan chicken bites quickly in your air fryer. This recipe delivers a cheesy, savory coating without deep frying.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels. This helps them crisp up.
  2. In a medium bowl, toss the chicken with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly coated.
  3. Place the grated Parmesan cheese in a separate shallow dish.
  4. Dredge each seasoned chicken piece in the Parmesan cheese, pressing lightly so the cheese adheres to all sides.
  5. Arrange the coated chicken pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd the basket; work in batches if necessary.
  6. Air fry at 380°F (195°C) for 10 to 12 minutes, flipping the pieces halfway through the cooking time.
  7. Check the internal temperature to ensure the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Remove from the air fryer, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, spray the coated chicken lightly with cooking spray before the first air fry cycle.
  • If your air fryer runs hot, start checking for doneness at 9 minutes.
  • Use finely grated Parmesan for the best coating adherence.
