Make potato gnocchi crispy on the outside and soft inside using your air fryer. This recipe is quick and seasoned with garlic and Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (16 ounce) package shelf-stable potato gnocchi
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place the uncooked gnocchi in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if necessary.
  2. Drizzle the olive oil over the gnocchi. Toss gently to coat all the pieces.
  3. Sprinkle the garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper over the gnocchi. Toss again to distribute the seasonings evenly.
  4. Air fry at 380 degrees Fahrenheit (195 degrees Celsius) for 10 to 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time. The gnocchi should be golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove the cooked gnocchi from the air fryer and immediately transfer them to a bowl.
  6. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the hot gnocchi and toss quickly until the cheese melts slightly onto the pieces.
  7. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, you can cook the gnocchi for an additional 1 to 2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
  • If you prefer a softer coating, add the Parmesan cheese during the last 2 minutes of cooking instead of tossing it after.
  • This recipe works best with shelf-stable or refrigerated gnocchi, not frozen.
