Prepare this easy, no-bake Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats recipe for a healthy, grab-and-go breakfast that tastes like apple pie. It is perfect for meal prepping and busy mornings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy for vegan option)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 small apple, finely diced
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Get a jar or container with a lid suitable for overnight soaking.
  2. Add the rolled oats, chia seeds, milk, applesauce, diced apple, maple syrup (if using), cinnamon, and salt to the container.
  3. Stir all the ingredients together well until everything is combined. Make sure the chia seeds are not clumped at the bottom.
  4. Seal the container with the lid.
  5. Place the container in the refrigerator and let it soak for at least 6 hours, or preferably overnight.
  6. In the morning, stir the oats again. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash more milk until you reach your preferred consistency.
  7. Eat cold directly from the jar. Add extra cinnamon or nuts on top if you like.

Notes

  • For a vegan option, use almond, soy, or oat milk.
  • If you want a protein boost, stir in one scoop of vanilla protein powder or 1/4 cup of Greek yogurt before refrigerating.
  • This recipe keeps well in the refrigerator for up to 4 days, making it great for batch meal prep.
  • If you prefer a softer apple texture, you can microwave the diced apple with the cinnamon for 30 seconds before mixing it into the oats.
