A simple recipe for a creamy, cheesy, and spicy baked dip perfect for parties and game days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo wing sauce
  • 1/2 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded chicken, Buffalo sauce, and ranch or blue cheese dressing. Mix until fully combined.
  3. Stir in 3/4 cup of the mozzarella cheese and all of the cheddar cheese into the chicken mixture.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of mozzarella cheese over the top.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dip is heated through and the cheese on top is melted and bubbly.
  7. If desired, sprinkle with green onions before serving.
  8. Serve hot with tortilla chips, celery sticks, or crackers.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use blue cheese dressing instead of ranch.
  • If you prefer a thicker dip, reduce the amount of dressing slightly.
  • You can prepare the mixture (Steps 1-4) ahead of time and refrigerate it for up to 24 hours before baking. Add 5-10 minutes to the baking time if baking straight from the refrigerator.
  • If you want a spicier dip, add a dash of cayenne pepper or a few drops of your favorite hot sauce to the mixture.
