Make this simple, hot, and creamy baked pickle dip for your next gathering. It uses common ingredients and bakes quickly.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup finely chopped dill pickles
  • 1/4 cup pickle juice
  • 2 tablespoons dried minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease an 8-inch pie plate or small oven-safe dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream. Mix until smooth.
  3. Stir in the chopped dill pickles, pickle juice, dried minced onion, and garlic powder. Mix well to distribute the ingredients evenly.
  4. Transfer the mixture to your prepared baking dish and spread it into an even layer.
  5. Sprinkle the Monterey Jack cheese evenly over the top of the dip.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dip is hot throughout and the cheese topping is melted and lightly golden brown.
  7. Let the dip cool for 5 minutes before serving directly from the dish.

Notes

  • Serve this hot pickle dip with sturdy crackers, tortilla chips, or sliced baguette pieces.
  • For a tangier flavor, use dill pickle relish instead of chopped pickles.
  • You can add 1/4 cup of crumbled cooked bacon to the mixture before baking for extra flavor.
