You can make this incredibly flavorful, restaurant-quality Texas Roadhouse Style Baked Salmon right in your oven. This recipe delivers juicy, flaky salmon with a sweet and savory glaze, ready fast enough for any weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • For the Glaze:
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets completely dry using paper towels. This step helps you get a better texture.
  3. Place the dried salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle evenly with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and regular paprika.
  4. Prepare the glaze: In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Remove the saucepan from the heat. Whisk in the honey, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and smoked paprika until the glaze is smooth.
  6. Brush about half of the prepared glaze evenly over the tops of the salmon fillets.
  7. Bake the salmon for 12 to 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of your fillets, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Remove the salmon from the oven. Brush the remaining glaze over the hot fillets.
  9. Serve immediately. This salmon pairs well with roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes for a complete, healthy fish dinner.

Notes

  • For extra crispy skin, place the salmon skin-side down on a wire rack set over the baking sheet before baking.
  • If you prefer a stronger garlic flavor, use 1 teaspoon of garlic powder in the seasoning mix and 2 cloves of garlic in the glaze.
  • This recipe is a fantastic quick dinner idea, taking about 10 minutes of prep time.
