A festive and sweet fall cocktail that combines the flavors of caramel apples with sangria, perfect for autumn gatherings and bonfires.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bottle (750ml) dry white wine (like Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc)
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce, plus more for drizzling
  • 1/4 cup brandy or apple brandy
  • 1 apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 pear, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, apple cider, caramel sauce, and brandy.
  2. Stir well until the caramel sauce is fully incorporated.
  3. Add the sliced apple and pear to the pitcher.
  4. If using, stir in the chopped pecans.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Before serving, fill glasses with ice cubes.
  7. Pour the sangria over the ice.
  8. Drizzle with extra caramel sauce if desired.

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic version, substitute white grape juice for the wine and omit the brandy.
  • Adjust the amount of caramel sauce to your sweetness preference.
  • Add cinnamon sticks or star anise for extra fall spice.
