A recipe for a refreshing, tart, and slightly caffeinated drink combining cold brew coffee and lemonade.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cold brew coffee concentrate
  • 1 cup prepared lemonade (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup cold water or club soda
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices for garnish
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon simple syrup or mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Chill the cold brew concentrate thoroughly before starting.
  2. In a glass, combine the cold brew concentrate and the prepared lemonade.
  3. Stir the mixture gently to combine the coffee and lemonade bases.
  4. Add cold water or club soda to dilute the drink to your preferred strength.
  5. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  6. Pour the coffee-lemonade mixture over the ice.
  7. Garnish with a fresh lemon slice.
  8. If you prefer more sweetness, stir in simple syrup. If you want a fresh herbal note, muddle a few mint leaves in the bottom of the glass before adding ice.

Notes

  • The ratio of 1:1 cold brew concentrate to lemonade works well, but adjust based on the strength of your concentrate and the tartness of your lemonade.
  • For a homemade lemonade base, mix 1 part fresh lemon juice, 1 part sugar, and 3 parts water, then chill.
  • If your cold brew is very acidic, a small amount of simple syrup helps balance the flavors.
