Ingredients
Scale
1 cup Mayonnaise
1/2 cup Sour Cream
1/4 cup Buttermilk
1/4 cup fresh Parsley, packed
2 tablespoons fresh Chives
1 tablespoon fresh Tarragon
1 tablespoon fresh Dill
1 clove Garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Onion Powder
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
Instructions
Combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, and buttermilk in a food processor or blender. Blend until smooth.
Add the fresh parsley, chives, tarragon, and dill to the mixture. Pulse until the herbs are finely chopped and incorporated, but do not over-process to keep some texture.
Add the minced garlic, onion powder, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Blend briefly to combine all seasonings.
Taste the dressing and adjust salt or lemon juice as needed for your preference.
Transfer the dressing to an airtight container. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to fully meld.
Notes
For a thinner dressing, add buttermilk one tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
If you do not have fresh tarragon, you can substitute with 1 teaspoon dried tarragon, but the fresh flavor is better for a copycat recipe.
This dressing thickens considerably as it chills; stir well before serving.
