Make this incredibly simple and creamy frozen hot chocolate in under five minutes. It is the perfect cold, refreshing chocolate drink for summer days or a quick, decadent dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup milk (any kind works)
  • 1/2 cup hot chocolate mix (powdered)
  • 1 1/2 cups ice cubes
  • Whipped cream, for topping
  • Chocolate syrup or curls, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Gather your three main ingredients: milk, hot chocolate mix, and ice.
  2. Pour the milk and hot chocolate mix into your blender.
  3. Add the ice cubes to the blender.
  4. Secure the lid and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and thick, resembling a frosty shake. This usually takes less than one minute.
  5. Pour the creamy frozen hot chocolate into a tall glass.
  6. Top generously with whipped cream and drizzle with chocolate syrup or sprinkle with chocolate curls. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a richer, copycat Panera style flavor, substitute 1/4 cup of the milk with chocolate milk or add one tablespoon of chocolate fudge sauce before blending.
  • If you like your drink thicker, reduce the milk slightly or add a few more ice cubes.
  • Use your favorite brand of hot chocolate mix; the flavor will shine through!
