Make this delicious, juicy baked Caesar chicken for a simple weeknight dinner. It features a creamy Parmesan coating and captures classic Caesar salad flavors with minimal effort.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup creamy Caesar dressing
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for topping
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, pepper, and salt until smooth. This is your creamy Parmesan sauce.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Spoon the creamy sauce evenly over the top of each chicken breast, spreading it to cover completely.
  5. If using, sprinkle the breadcrumbs lightly over the sauce on each piece of chicken.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit (74 degrees Celsius) and the topping is golden brown.
  7. Let the juicy baked chicken breasts rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can lightly pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness before coating them.
  • Serve this easy weeknight chicken over pasta or alongside roasted asparagus for a complete meal.
  • If you want a crispier topping without breadcrumbs, increase the oven temperature to 425 degrees Fahrenheit for the last 5 minutes of baking.
