Ingredients
Scale
1 pound ground beef
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce, plus more for brushing
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
8 slider buns
1/2 ripe pineapple, sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, red onion, mayonnaise
Instructions
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
In a bowl, combine ground beef, 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil. Season with salt and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
Form the mixture into 8 small patties, about 1/2-inch thick.
Grill the pineapple slices for 2-3 minutes per side, until grill marks appear and they are slightly softened. Set aside.
Grill the burger patties for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Brush with additional teriyaki sauce during the last minute of cooking.
Lightly toast the slider buns on the grill, if desired.
Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with a grilled pineapple slice and your favorite optional toppings.
Serve immediately and enjoy your Flame-Kissed Teriyaki Burgers!
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the burger mixture.
If you don’t have fresh ginger, you can use 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger.
Adjust the amount of teriyaki sauce to your preference.
