- 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Place the halved Brussels sprouts in a bowl. Toss them with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (195°C) for 3 minutes.
- Place the seasoned sprouts in the air fryer basket in a single layer if possible.
- Air fry for 10 minutes. Shake the basket well.
- While the sprouts cook, whisk together the balsamic vinegar and honey in a small bowl to create the glaze.
- Return the sprouts to the air fryer and cook for an additional 4 to 6 minutes, or until they are tender inside and crispy outside.
- Remove the sprouts from the air fryer and immediately transfer them to a clean bowl.
- Pour the honey balsamic glaze over the hot sprouts and toss quickly to coat them completely.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary to achieve maximum crispiness.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of garlic powder to the initial seasoning mix.
- If your honey is very thick, warm it slightly before mixing with the balsamic vinegar.
