A simple recipe for making a refreshing, dairy-free iced latte sweetened with natural honey.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 shots espresso (about 2 oz), cooled
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Brew your espresso shots and allow them to cool slightly. You can chill them quickly in the freezer for 5 minutes if needed.
  2. In a small bowl or jar, combine the honey and the cooled espresso. Stir or whisk until the honey is fully dissolved into the coffee. If using vanilla extract, add it now.
  3. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  4. Pour the almond milk over the ice.
  5. Slowly pour the sweetened espresso mixture over the milk and ice.
  6. Stir gently before drinking to combine the layers.

Notes

  • For a stronger coffee flavor, use cold brew concentrate instead of espresso.
  • If you prefer a sweeter drink, warm a small amount of almond milk first and dissolve the honey completely before chilling the mixture.
  • Use raw or clover honey for different flavor profiles.
