2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
1 cup BBQ sauce
1/4 cup water or chicken broth
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Place chicken in the Instant Pot.
In a bowl, whisk together BBQ sauce, water or broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken. Season with salt and pepper.
Secure the lid on the Instant Pot and set the valve to sealing.
Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
Allow for a natural pressure release for 5 minutes, then carefully perform a quick release for any remaining pressure.
Remove the chicken from the Instant Pot and shred it using two forks.
Return the shredded chicken to the pot and stir it into the sauce.
