Prepare a quick, creamy, and satisfying smoothie that tastes like strawberry cheesecake while keeping your net carbs low for your ketogenic diet.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries (low carb option)
  • 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 scoop vanilla or unflavored whey protein powder (optional, for protein boost)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1-2 tablespoons keto-approved sweetener (like erythritol or monk fruit), to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4-5 ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Place the almond milk, frozen strawberries, cream cheese, heavy cream, protein powder (if using), chia seeds, keto sweetener, and vanilla extract into a high-speed blender.
  2. Add the ice cubes last.
  3. Secure the lid and blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides if necessary.
  4. Taste the smoothie and add more sweetener if desired. Blend briefly to incorporate.
  5. Pour the smoothie into a glass and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a thicker smoothie, reduce the almond milk slightly or add a few more ice cubes.
  • If you do not have cream cheese, you can substitute with 2 tablespoons of cream cheese powder for a similar flavor.
  • Use only a small amount of strawberries, as they are higher in carbs than other keto berries like raspberries.
  • For a richer flavor, use a few drops of strawberry extract instead of fresh strawberries, if preferred.
