Ingredients
Scale
12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 cups small pretzel twists, broken into pieces
1/2 cup powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)
Instructions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and peanut butter.
Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each interval, until the mixture is smooth and fully melted. This usually takes about 60 to 90 seconds total.
Stir the broken pretzel pieces into the melted chocolate and peanut butter mixture until they are evenly coated.
Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet in an even layer, about 1/4 inch thick.
If using, lightly dust the top with powdered sugar.
Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or until the bark is completely firm.
Remove the bark from the parchment paper and break it into irregular pieces.
Notes
For a white chocolate version, substitute white chocolate chips for the semi-sweet chips.
If you prefer a crunchier texture, use crunchy peanut butter instead of creamy.
You can add a sprinkle of coarse sea salt on top before chilling for extra flavor contrast.
