Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls or pizza dough
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup mini pepperoni

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough or pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface. If using crescent rolls, pinch the seams together to form one large rectangle.
  3. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border at one edge.
  4. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  5. Arrange the mini pepperoni slices over the cheese.
  6. Starting from the edge with the sauce and toppings, tightly roll up the dough.
  7. Slice the roll into 1/2-inch thick pinwheels.
  8. Place the pinwheels cut-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder before baking.
  • Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
