Make this simple, refreshing frozen watermelon smoothie. It is a quick, hydrating drink perfect for hot weather.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups frozen watermelon chunks
  • 1/2 cup cold water or coconut water
  • 1 small banana (optional, for creaminess)
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the frozen watermelon chunks, water or coconut water, banana (if using), and lime juice into your blender.
  2. Add the sweetener if you prefer a sweeter taste.
  3. Blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides if necessary.
  4. Pour the smoothie into glasses immediately.
  5. Serve cold.

Notes

  • For a thicker smoothie, use less liquid or add 1/4 cup of ice cubes.
  • If you do not have frozen watermelon, use fresh watermelon and add 1 cup of ice.
