Make a light and creamy whipped goat cheese dip using five simple ingredients. This spread is ready in minutes and perfect for serving at parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces fresh goat cheese (chèvre), softened
  • 4 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons honey, for drizzling
  • 2 tablespoons shelled pistachios, roughly chopped

Instructions

  1. Place the softened goat cheese, heavy cream, olive oil, salt, and pepper into a food processor.
  2. Process the mixture for 1 to 2 minutes, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed, until the cheese is completely smooth and airy.
  3. Transfer the whipped goat cheese to a shallow serving bowl.
  4. Drizzle the top evenly with the honey.
  5. Sprinkle the chopped pistachios over the honey.
  6. Serve immediately with crackers, crostini, or vegetable sticks.

Notes

  • If you do not have a food processor, you can use a stand mixer with the whisk attachment, but the texture may be slightly less airy.
  • For a savory variation, substitute the honey with finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes and fresh thyme.
  • To make this ahead, store the plain whipped cheese in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Add toppings just before serving.
